Received an Associate of Applied Science degree in Manufacturing Technology from Temple College in 1998

Received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Classics from Baylor University in 2002

Received a Master of Arts in Humanities degree in Classics from University of Dallas in 2006

Began teaching in August 2002 at Covenant School in Dallas. In August 2004, moved to Waco, Texas to teach at Texas Christian Academy. In August 2005, moved to Lewisville to teach at Hebron High School

Currently serving in the Texas Army National Guard
