| This is my second year teaching at Polser Elementary. I was a student teacher at Polser so this has always felt like home to me. The students, parents and staff are all so wonderful and supportive. |
| I moved to Texas from Illinois in 1994 and have lived in Carrollton ever since. I have been married to my husband, Chris, for sixteen years. We have two sons, Zack & Aaron. Zack is a freshman at Hebron and Aaron is a fifth grader at Coyote Ridge. After raising my family I went back to college to become an elementary school teacher. I graduated, with honors, in 2005 from Texas Woman's University. I am ESL certified and have completed all levels of LISD's computer competencies, which have allowed me to receive a classroom projector, laptop, document camera, ten classroom computers and a CPS (Class Performance System) unit. This year our class was awarded the model technology classroom grant. We will be receiving a Smartboard (interactive whiteboard), four digital cameras and a camcorder. The added technology has been a great experience for me and for all of the students. |
| Polser has become a very big part of my life and I wouldn't have it any other way. When I'm not at Polser I am spending time with my husband, sons and dog, Fritz. We have a busy family life with most evenings and weekends filled with school activities, travel ice hockey, football & club soccer. We run around a lot but love every minute of it! |
