The
students practice and compete weekly in order to qualify for the TMSCA State
Contest that is held in the spring in San Antonio. At this contest, the team
competes against students from all over the state of Texas. In the
past, the
students
have gone down to San Antonio on Friday. They sightsee Friday afternoon
and have a study session Friday night. The contest on Saturday lasts through
the late afternoon. After going out for dinner, the students go bowling for
three hours. After sleeping late on Sunday, the team heads back to Lewisville,
stopping in Waco for lunch. |
