| Student
library hours are 8:15 A.M. to 4:15 P.M. Students who wish to come
in at 8:15 must get a pass from the teacher on duty in the cafeteria
(sixth grade) or gym (seventh and eighth grade). Each day the duty
teacher is given fifty library passes to distribute. Students may
come after school without a pass.
Students
may check out two library books for a period of two weeks. Books
may be renewed one time. A fine of .10 per school day is charged
if a book is not returned by the due date. Those who owe a fine
or have an overdue book may not check out more books until all overdue
items have been returned and fines have been paid. Students are
expected to pay for lost or damaged books.
Eleven
computers are available for student use in the library, and students
may use the computers for school-related assignments if they have
turned in Lewisville I.S.D.'s Acceptable Use Policy signed by a
parent or guardian. All Lewisville I.S.D. schools use the Follett
Library Automation Program.
Numerous
electronic resources are available for students to use free of charge
