Birthday Books
This is our sixth year to have the very popular Birthday Book Program. This program was started by Ms. Victoria Brown to provide popular books for our library. The children really enjoy having a book containing a bookplate with their name and birthdate in it.
The program works like this. On the month of your child's birthday she/he will receive an invitation to purchase a birthday book in honor of his/her birthday. Attached to the invitation is a list of available books . For your child to receive a birthday book, she/he must return the filled out invitation with a check for $14.00. Your child will be presented with her/his birthday book on the daily annnouncements. She/He will be the first to check out her/his birthday book. When finished with the book, students return the book to the library for their friends to check out. Books may be purchased at any time during the school year.
Students may also purchase books in honor of a teacher or a loved one.
