The main character is Steve Harmon who is in jail. He was convicted of murder and robbery. Steve is telling us about his times in jail and in court.  In his journal and movie script form. Steve is only 17 years old he lives in Harlem, New York.

                 This book is about  Steve Harmon’s experiences in jail and the court room. Steve was convicted of walking into a drug store right before two losers were about to rob it and being their look out. The robbery ended up being a murder. The guys who robbed it shot the store clerk. This book shows hoe hard and tough it is to live in the streets in New York.  Steve has a hard time and jail and is lonely.

Problem & Solution

The problem in this book is that Steve is accused of robbing a drug store and murdering the person at the store clerk. He did not murder or

rob the drug store. But he still has to go to jail until the the trial is over.

The solution is that Steve has to have a trial and hope it gets over

turned. Steve’s trial gets over turned and he is free from jail.
