I attended The University of Texas in Arlington and received my degree in History and Elementary Education. I married and moved to Palm Springs, California and taught 2nd and 3rd grades. I moved back to the Dallas area and taught Kindergarten in The Colony. I have been at Donald for 15 years. I have taught Kindergarten through 3rd grade. |

I am currently team leader of third grade. I serve on the Building Leadership Team. I am a sponsor for the Bits and Bytes Computer club. I am also the grade book mentor. I was the 1999-2000 Donald Teacher of the Year and the district top five finalist. I am a lifetime PTA member. I coach UIL Maps, Charts, and Graphs. |

I have a husband and two children. We spend our time at sporting events and theatre. My daughter was chosen as a Disney Kid in 2006 and she is heard on Radio Disney. She is involved in musical theatre. My son plays soccer and is a red belt in Karate. He also is a competitive ballroom dancer. I love to read and watch sports. I have been involved in many activities in the community such as: Junior League, Girl Scouts, Coaching, and church activities. I currently volunteer at the Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre and St. Philip's Church. We have a German Shepard named Sarah and a Border Collie named Belle. I love teaching and I love children!
