Second Grade Information |
*Behavior Calendar: The Second Grade implements a Six Weeks Conduct Chart as a means to document each child's behavior. This calendar chart is placed in the student's Home Folder at the beginning of each six weeks. The behaviors are recorded using numbers to represent life skills. This chart needs to be signed daily. It is a way to see which areas need to improve, as well as how well the student is doing.
1-talking, blurting, interrupting 2-not speaker focused 3-not following directions/rules 4-playing, disturbing others 5-not using time wisely, not doing work 6-
not returning work/note/folder 7-not respecting others/property 8-other

| *Thursday Folders: Thursday Folders are sent home each week containing any school news, PTA updates, community information, as well as class information and graded papers.
The folder contents need to be gone through and the folder,along with any papers that need signatures, needs to be returned on Friday.
It is important that you have know what your child is learning and producing here at school. Let your child tell you all about it! |

fruit or grain muffin or bar,
