Mrs. Williamson's second grade class projects

Constitution Day We read and listened to the Preamble and put the words to it in order (Preamble Scramble). We made a Classroom Constitution too.	Salute to Seuss We read lots of books for this fabulous author, did summary webs, had fun with rhyming words, thought about what we'd tell our parents about the Cat in the Hat. We will do more with Thidwick the Big-Hearted Moose. Here's the project link.
Monster Exchange Each student drew a monster then the class voted on the one to use for this project. The class wrote a description about the monster. Mrs. Haney's Second Grade Class in The Colony is our partner--they will try to draw our class monster based on our description & we'll try to draw their class monster based on their description. Here's the project link.	The Shape of Things Each student is creating a KidPix 'picture' using only circles, triangles and squares. Our graphics will be uploaded to the wiki when completed.
