Attach a copy of the document in an email to me. If your piece is published, additional points will be awarded. We have already had one student get her poetry published!

Illustrate a scene or character from The Odyssey . Be sure to use color and place on a small poster board or white printer paper.

Create a visual aid representing the challenged novel you read. The visual should give the viewer insight into the theme of your book. I am looking for projects that I can display in future semesters such as posters, diaramas, mobiles, etc. Think about the different types of book projects you did in past grades.

NOTE: I will keep a running tally of extra credit assignments you complete. Points will be distributed at the time I submit grades each three weeks. The number of points awarded will vary depending on the quality of your work, your effort in class, and what is needed to impact your grade. (Flashcard bonus points will be added to the appropriate week's vocabulary quiz.)
