Hello! I am Ms. Butler. I have been teaching for thirteen years. I graduated from Norfolk State University in Norfolk, Virginia. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, and Third Grade. I have been teaching Third Grade for the past 10 years. I have recieved my Master's Degree in Education from the University of Phoenix. Since beginning to teach in Lewisville ISD I have passed Level 1 & 2 Technology Compantancies, as well as completed the ITG grant. I have also become ESL (English as a Second Language) Certified. I was born in St. Louis, Missouri. I moved to the Dallas area in 2005 with my three children. The oldest is in the Marines currently stationed in Japan. My youngest two live here with me. My middle son is a freshman at LHS North and in the marching band and on the golf team. My daughter is in Third Grade at Vickery Elementary. She plays soccer and does gymnastics. We enjoy all there is to do here, expecially going to the Dallas Cowboys Football games. I am an avid sports fan. Baseball, football, and basketball are my most favorite. Besides sports I enjoy finding new ways to use technology in my classroom.
